This dwarf spruce was found as a witch's broom on Picea abies 'Acrocona'. It produces multiple red cones every spring! The bright green growth and the ornamental cones make this a lovely plant for a small garden.
This fun small plant has the cutest pink-purple cones even on young plants. The little cones will turn tan through the rest of the season. This arching plant makes a nice container plant for the garden.
Named Collector's Conifer of the Year in 2008 and for good reason. In spring bright red cones at the ends of the numerous short branches appear. These mature into a brown color and hold on throughout the growing season. This choice conifer grows 2-4 inches a year into a dense mound. Our plants are grafted 12 inches high and uniformly cascade down to the soil line.
A wonderful dwarf spreading conifer with green needles. Overall appearance is very oriental with semi drooping branches. Known for its beautiful red cones in spring which mature to brown by mid summer. .
