One of the smallest hemlocks and among the smallest of conifers. Very tiny dark green needles form an irregular globe of thick congested growth to about 15-18 inches at 15 years. Slow growth to about 6-10 inches at 10 years. Takes to trimming for a micro mini presentation. Use as a mini shrub for close-up scenes or as a tiny accent plant in all small scale scenes.
