    A bun-shaped cypress that is very slow growing at around 1" a year. Foliage is a lush green. It was selected as a seedling by Verkade Nursery in the 1980s.

    Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Green Cushion' - A miniature green bun form of Japanese Hinoki Cypress. Leaves a dark green. Nice name, nice look. Plant grows 1 inch a year. Use in patio containers, troughs, rock gardens. Found about 1981 at Verkades Nursery in Wayne, New Jersey.
