Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Butter Ball' - Bright, lemony yellow tips on tightly congested foliage give this small, globose Hinoki a fresh, cheery look. The vivid coloring contrasts beautifully with naturally darker inner foliage. A consistently rounded habit and very slow growth distinguish this selection as superior to others. Prefers moist, well-drained soil.
