Pachypodium horombense is a semi-evergreen cactus / succulent with blue and green foliage. In spring yellow flowers emerge. Grows well with sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in winter. Does well in average, gritty, lean, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

Another true caudex forming Pachypodium. P. horombense resembles P. rosulatum in reference to the vegetation, but not the flowers. Flowers are lemon yellow, five chambered bells that grow on high stalks above the caudex. This is one of the largest flowering species in the group of true caudex forming pachypodium and highly collectible. Another pachy that requires full sun, limited fertilizer and a smaller pot to achieve the proper and beautiful natural look.
