Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A beautiful shrub/tree with highly dissected leaves resembling those of a cut-leaf Japanese maple and believed to have medicinal properties. Upwardly-pointing lavender blooms are fragrant and very attractive to bees and butterflies. Beautiful in a mixed shrub border or as a specimen. Requires well-drained soil in order to avoid leaf-spot or root-rot.
Similar to Vitex negundo but more deeply cut, incisa is wide ranging, however this is a form that is hardy here.
