perennial
Viola pedata is a broadleaf semi-evergreen perennial with green foliage. In spring lavender flowers emerge. Attracts butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with mostly sun - mostly shade and even moisture water. Does well in average and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.
