Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This is a sport I found quite a few years ago in a patch of regular old green Vinca minor. The new growth emerges an intense bright gold, splashed now and again with a bit of green in the leaf center, that is absolutely stunning in contrast to the blue flowers. The display is best in the spring as the leaf color fades over the summer to an olive green. Less vigorous than the regular var minor, which is a good thing, but still a energetic spreader that can trample weaker plants, so use with care. Zone 4. ? Joseph
