Nursery contributed plant descriptions

If you've never heard of symphyandra, well, basically they are campanula. Only more beautiful. That is the way it seem to me anyway. This is a very lovely one, with great masses of large, hanging, pure white bell-shaped flowers in late summer. A couple of feet tall, upright, and can take quite a bit of shade. Also, unlike many of the campanula, this does not run, but stays in one spot looking gorgeous. Zone 5, I think. They've not been through a really cold winter here yet, but I've no reason to think they'll prove wimpy when the time comes.- Joseph
