A low grower forming a finely textured mass foliage maybe 6 inches high, twice that as wide, superb for a large rock garden or the front of a perennial border. Come late summer, it absolutely smothers itself with, in this selection, dark pink flowers. It is a lush, vibrant, beautiful display that would be very nice in the spring, but in fall when the rest of the garden is beginning to decline and the world is very much russet and brown, it is absolutely breath-taking. Plant swaths of this everywhere in your garden, and next fall you will be an exceptionally happy person. (Yes, I know I'm gushing, but what can I say. I'm in love.) Zone 5 -Joseph
