Sedum populifolium is a deciduous cactus / succulent with green foliage. In spring white flowers emerge. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in well-drained soil.
There are not many woody sedums, actually, this Siberian species is the only one I can think of; Hawthorn scented white flowers tipped in pink top 20cm shrubby mounds. ZONE 5
