Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of the more growable saxes, with relatively large (for a sax ? a couple inches across) rosettes of beautiful silvered foliage. Happy plants will clump up forming a large silvery mass and produce a fairly nice 4-6 inch tall display of white flowers. The key to happy saxifragas, in our climate anyway, is absolutely perfect drainage on pure sand or tufa, and positioning them on the north side of a slope where they have bright light but are sheltered from intense direct sun. Zone 4. Joseph
