is a stunning late summer red hot poker. The extra-large flowers are bigger than any other knipfofia. I first saw it in 1999 in England and took a while to find here. A real show-stopper.

Rockets to the sky on stems 3’- 4’ tall and wide with fat pokers late summer to early fall, orangey-red at the top fading to orange to yellow at the bottom, can re-bloom in spring after warm winters.
