Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A long-lived, true perennial, discovered by Julia Mlokosjewicz in 1900, whose daddy was no one less than the gentleman that discovered Paeonia mlokosewitschii. A semi-evergreen plant that grows slowly into cushions with short stolons, which is unique to Primula. Easily grown in most soils; needs more moisture in full sun and warmer climates.
This is about as close to pure wild type juliae as anything we have seen in cultivation; small leaved rosettes grow to form small carpets given sufficient time. An absolutely outstanding and relatively easy Primula, it's more than choice enough for a woodland trough.
