Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Incredibly beautiful, unique flowers unlike anything else I've seen.Individual flowers are small, but produced in large clusters held on fairly long stems up above the foliage. As the name suggests, these laced primroses were quite popular in the victorian era. They are LONG overdue for a come back. Easy to grow and heat tolerant for us, but will fade away in the garden unless divided regularly. Zone 4. - Joseph
This is one of the most rare & difficult to obtain Primulas. I have lusted after this cutie for years & since it’s one of the evergreen polyanthus primroses, it’s sturdy & easy to grow! Almost black flowers edged in gold or creamy gold, with a golden eye, are borne in clusters from September-April or May. I have mine in a pot on a table so I can easily see its delicate beauty close up. To 10 inches tall & 16 inches wide. Bright shade, moist soil, fertilize a couple times a year.
