Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Potentilla reptans 'Flora Plena'. This is a quite attractive ground cover, only an inch or two high, and in this form, produces abundant fully double little rose-like yellow flowers in early summer. But be warned, this is also an incredibly aggressive weed, spreading indefinitely to the tune of several feet a year. In the right spot, say covering the ground under and around shrubs, or as a no-mow lawn alternative in a difficult site, it is a terrific plant, but it will eat lesser perennials alive in a heart-beat. - Joseph
