Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Picea abies 'Gregoriana Parsonii' - A dwarf Norway Spruce an irregular, evergreen conifer with alpine an shape makes this selection the perfect rock garden specimen. It sports relatively chunky, green needles, tan stems and bright brown buds. Longer, flatter needles and a slightly more open habit distinguish 'Gregoryana Parsonsii' from 'Gregoryana'.
Thick, deep-green needles radiate around the stems. Cinnamon-brown buds. A sport from Picea a. 'Gregoriana' with longer and flatter needles.
This is similar to 'Gregoriana but tends to be a bit more loose and straggly, introduced by Parson's nursery in NY back in 1927.
