Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of those understated plants that never steals the scene, but always looks good and makes everything around it look good too. Tidy, compact, spreader, maybe 3 or 4 inches tall with small, glossy, evergreen leaves. Will take dry shade, which few plants will, and is a nice alternative to things like pachysandra or ivy. Native, but not common, to the Eastern US, mostly in Appalachia. Zone 4
