Narrow leaves covered with rough, coarse hair. The leaves form a low, fairly tight clump, topped in early summer with pale yellow borage flowers on stems a foot or so tall. This genus is actually fairly closely related to pulmonaria, and you can certainly see it when they are in bloom. Zone 6.
