Silene suecica is a broadleaf evergreen or semi-evergreen perennial with green foliage. In spring and summer pink flowers emerge. Features grassy texture. Attracts butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and regular water. Does well in gritty, lean, rocky and well-drained soil.
A alpine (duh) lychnis. Little mound of grassy green leaves, flowers come in dense little spheres and are bright candy pink. Less than half a foot tall, spreads a little more. Best in rock garden conditions.Very hardy, but not a fan of hot summers. Zone 2
