Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Our friend Panayoti Kelaidis who curates the Denver Botanic Garden, sent us seed of this relatively unknown rock garden gem. Of course PK is friends with half the planet but he still makes us feel special. His gift of humanity exceeds his formidable gift of plants. A true Turkish Delight, this clumping Brassicaceae has fragrant pinkish flowers on 18" stems for weeks . You will be able to see quite easily the family resemblance to wallflowers but you will be growing the hort-head version. Decent drainage, reasonable moisture and sun.
Unlike anything else in the genus, Holubec collected it from the hot limestones of Dedegöl Dagh at 2,200m; basal rosettes of leaves send up 20cm panicles of exceedingly fragrant lilac flowers.
