A low growing evergreen epimedium. The flowers are found as yellow sprays making a pretty small space ground cover for the woodland garden.
Clouds of rich yellow bell shaped flowers the petals and sepals forming a bell like perianth in the manner of Semiaquilegia ecalcarata, this choice and distinctive species is still quite new to western cultivation. ZONE 5
Still very rare in cultivation and equally unusual. The bright lemon flowers have such short spurs, they look like bells. The semi-evergreen foliage is shiny and heavily toothed, looking much like that of E. pauciflorum.
