Delosperma ashtonii is an evergreen groundcover cactus / succulent with green foliage. In fall, spring and summer pink flowers emerge. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer, dry in winter. Does well in gritty, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

One of the earliest of the hardy ice plants to be cultivated in North America. To about 3" in height and spreading to a couple of feet or more. This high-veld creature with succulent bright green foliage, and rose pink to lavender centered flowers, can be grown in any sunny , well-drained position. Areas as cold as zone 5, if provided gritty well drained soil. Excellent small scale ground cover or container plant.
Extremely showy large pink flowers, leaves broad for a delosperma. One of the hardiest, to zone 5 in dry climates. May even be hardy here with careful placement.
