Formerly classified as a hyacinthus, the resemblance is striking, but this is ever so much more elegant in form, with maybe 8 inches flower stems with dangling bell-shaped blue flowers. Very beautiful, perfectly easy to grow, and for some reason almost entirely absent from gardens. Probably, no doubt, because the name is so unfamiliar.Zone 4.
