Anemone altaica is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In spring white flowers emerge. Attracts bees and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with mostly sun - mostly shade and even moisture - regular water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.
Growing in woodland fringes in the Altai it is similar to nemorosa and may indeed be a subspecies of it, white flowers with 8-12 petals veined blue on the interior.. ZONE 5
