Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Hippeastrum 'Rilona' is a gorgeous and unique amaryllis in shades of peach and apricot with a red throat. Grow in a sunny location (usually in a pot) outside in summer. Fertilize well. Allow autumn frosts to hit the foliage then bring inside, chop off the leaves and allow to dry out in the dark. Give light and water when a bud or new foliage appears. Will bloom indoors in January and February. This Jumbo Size bulb will have 2-3 flowering stems.
Propagated by a former employee, Flowers are huge and red. We've got a bunch of them and I can't bring myself to dump them so we might as well sell a few.
