Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Graceful, spectacular, and decidedly different, this landmark canna is topped by arching sprays of dangling, bell-shaped, deep rose flowers that may remind you of fuchsias. Though widely praised by late Victorian gardeners, it doesn't store or ship as easily as other cannas so it all but disappeared in the 20th century. But now it's back, and it's a thrill. 5-7', green leaves, zones 8-11 or winter indoors.
