Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Oregano flavor with a spicy bite; showy penstemon like flowers
A big perennial that can get to 4 feet tall in hot summer climates, and producing lots and lots of long tubular sage flowers over most of the summer. Likes it hot and dry, hotter and drier, no doubt, than we usually are here in Michigan. Can be used as a herb for cooking, flavor somewhat resembling oregano. Most references list it as only hardy to zone 8.
