Sidalcea 'Monarch' is a broadleaf semi-evergreen perennial with green foliage. In fall and spring pink flowers emerge. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and regular water. Does well in average and well-drained soil.
A hardy clumping perennial for sun or part shade. Attractive, round, lobed leaves to 30cm high, are held on slender stems which arise from a woody rootstock. In spring and autumn erect stems, bearing handsome divided leaves, of 4cm mid pink hollyhock-like flowers are produced prolifically. One of the best small perennials.
