Salvia coccinea plant details
Salvia coccinea is a broadleaf deciduous, evergreen or semi-evergreen annual / biennial or perennial with green foliage. In fall, spring and summer red flowers emerge. Attracts bees, beneficial insects, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and even moisture - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and humidity tolerant.
