An erect shrubby perennial. Mid to light green heart shaped leaves in alternate pairs on strong straight stems. Throughout the warmer months deep purple tubular hooded flowers (5cm) with prominent deep purple bracts are produced in loose spikes. Does best with some light shade and protection from wind. Very similar to Salvia Purple Majesty.
