Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This delightful compact (to 15") gem has beautiful lavender flowers wide-open so you can see the white throat threaded with purple and red; wonderful at the front on a border, rock garden or container. S/M/GDr
One of the lowest growing Penstemon's, this cultivar makes a great border or edging for paths. The deep purple flowers are borne freely throughout the warmer months. Vigorous for it's size this is among the most reliable Penstemons, always performing well. All Penstemons resent root disturbance and prefer an alkaline soil. Give them some lime if your soil is acidic.
