Limonium latifolium is a broadleaf evergreen perennial with green foliage. In spring and summer lavender flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Attracts bees and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average, gritty, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something seaside / salt tolerant.

I have plants that are almost 20 years old and still going strong! Nice 6” tall rosettes of blue green thickened leaves are evergreen and expand slowly to 12”clumps. Summer sprays on 10-18” stems are frothy with papery, easy to dry lavender clouds of small flowers, great cut...and last forever in a dry vase! Full sun, well-drained soil, occasional water. Maintenance free. Deer proof. Sweetheart of the rock garden.
