Nursery contributed plant descriptions

An evergreen, clumping perennial. Tall spires (1m) of densely packed, cup shaped, starry, bright pale purple flowers are produced during Summer. Coupled with the rosettes of narrow, rich green leaves, makes for a plant of a singularly posessing beauty.Prefers a moist soil enriched with organic matter. Feed well.As with most Campanulas it benefits from some added lime if grown in acidic soil.Yet another one to add to the list of outstanding Campanulas introduced in the last couple of years, allowing those of us with too ample shade to grow entire, dramatic gardens of them.
