Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The classic marguerite daisy. Large single white flowers on long stems, excellent for picking as the name implies, and glaucous lacy foliage on a fast growing, woody, mounding shrub that standardizes very well. Requires little water once established and just about indestructible. Remove spent flowers to promote flowering and cut back annually into the previous years growth to encourage density. In my opinion vastly superior to the many modern dwarf varieties that are weak and pest prone by comparison, and that rarely live up to expectations.
