Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A wee little thing, less than a foot tall in bloom, with massive, dense spikes of and enviable, wonderful shade of blue. Blooms early in the spring the earliest of the penstemon. Absolutely gorgeous.Reportedly hardy to zone 3 (does anyone actually LIVE in zone 3?) but, as usual with these things, perfect drainage is required to make it through the cold. -Joseph
