    Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Short spikes, just 10-12" tall, of fluorescent-pink, early-summer flowers make this low mounder a favorite for containers, borders and rock gardens. Thin, lance-shaped leaves are up to 3" long and spread to form a neat clump of bright-green 8" tall by 18" wide. Good-drainage is necessary for these beauties; deer and rabbit resistant. S/M PPAF
