Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This petite (to only 8"!) newcomer, with its showy spikes of violet-blue flowers late-spring into summer, will be a favorite for container, front-of-the-border and rock-garden. S/M-D/GDr PP13322
This especially compact selection is a stunning addition to the front of the border. Spikes of intense violet-blue flowers top grey-green foliage on dense, shrub-like growth. Also good in pots. Very cold hardy. Show it off with Alchemilla mollis or backed by Senecio grayii 'Sunshine' (or anything with silver leaves).
