Rich Velvety flowers in sunset tones of yellow, orange, red, bronze and mahogany; some two-tone colors. Blooms range from 3" to 4 ½" across, are double and semi-double, and long lasting as cut flowers. Plants are 18"-24" tall, spreads to a width of 12"-15" - Prefers moist, fertile well-drained soil, although drought tolerant, deer resistant. Cherokee Sunset will flower profusely in the first year. Self-sows freely; deadhead if you do not want volunteer seedlings next season.
