Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Developed in 1906, this cultivar ripens fully two weeks before its' parent 'Elberta'. Large, fragrant, pink flowers put on a spring show on this attractive 15-20' tree. The blossoms become juicy, sweet, golden-fleshed, freestone peaches with a lovely blush of red. These are perfect for canning, pies or fresh eating. This cultivar is self-fertile and good for pollinating other peaches; minimum 650 chill hours. S/M
