Silvery-blue needles on this dense, pyramidal dwarf are slightly curved. Produces many cones at a fairly young age, as well, giving a colorful display in early- to mid-spring.
Dwarf pine with short bluish needles. Can form a leader and be narrow and slender, or can be grown in shrub form as well. Grows in full sun, but a partly shaded location will enhance the blue color. Growth Rate slow
Typically develops into an irregular shrub-form conifer. The blue needles are about half the size as the species and will retain their blue color throughout winter. Though rated as Zone 5 has been found to grow successfully in Minnesota's harsh winter climate.
DWARF. A slow growing small pine with needles about 1 1/4" long and thick. The blue color and dense growth make this a very pleasing plant that is just going to develop more character as it matures in the garden.
