Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Its narrowly upright form and short but profuse somewhat pendulous flower clusters make this hybrid (L. alpinum x L. anagyroides) a useful and striking accent; sometimes called L. ?Columnaris?. S/M/GDr
A small, bushy, deciduous tree with stiffly ascending branches. The golden yellow flowers drape beautifully on pendulous 8" long racemes in late spring/early summer. This tree enjoys morning sun with afternoon shade. Growth Rate medium
A narrowly upright form of the L. alpinum x L. anagyroides hybrid, occasionally listed incorrectly as 'Columnaris'. Flower chains are short but borne in profusion on the end of the branches, making this a striking plant when it's in bloom. Interestingly, the flowers emerge upright and then begin to droop as they mature. Clean foliage all season long.
