Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Like woolly little lambs, this special 4-8' shrub covers itself with delicate white ?snowball? flowers; new from Jelena DeBelder in Belgium. PSh/M (not dry)
Deciduous, upright growing shrub with cone-shaped panicles of small white flowers in July to September. Flower clusters supposedly resemble a little lamb. Blooms on current season's growth, so should be pruned in winter or early spring. Growth Rate fast
Unique in Hydrangeas because the petals are the smallest of any Hydrangea. The tight, delicate flower heads are like little dancing lambs floating about the compact foliage. This delightful shrub blooms in mid-summer and continues into autumn. The pure white blooms blend with everything and just light up the garden. Indifferent to pH -- who cares about blues and pinks and how to get the color you want when you can have a 'Little Lamb' in your garden. Reliable, cold hardy and can be easily maintained as a plant than 4-6 which it will reach if left to it's own devices. More delicate than it's relative - Pee Gee Hydrangea. Hybridized by the famous plantswoman Jelena DeBelder of Belgium. PP15395

A mini "Pee-Gee Hydrangea"! Smaller flower panicles, smaller foliage, somewhat smaller stature at 5-6'. Use where a more delicate look is appreciated. Available in Gallon pots.
Jelenaa DeBelder of Belgium has given us a new hardy compact Hydrangea. It has the smallest flower petals of any Hydrangea and relatively small white flower clusters that turn pink in the fall make it particularly valuable for flower arranging for midsummer to fall. A gem for any garden.

(PPAF) This hybrid from the late Jelena De Belder (Hamamelis 'Jelena') has very small white florets that look like lamb's wool in the plant. Another very hardy hydrangea even for some of the coldest parts of the country.
