Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Alocasia ‘Nobilis’ is a rare and unusual Alocasia displaying glossy, zig zag shield leaves in dark green patterned with prominent light veins. This unique houseplant grows with a vase-shaped habit, and adapts well to home conditions.
Alocasia sanderiana (Nobilis) is one very beautiful and oddly unique plants. I believe it does best as a house plant or our for the summer. Plants usually get 1 to 3 feet tall. It looks a bit similar to Alocasia Amazonica but has very deeply cut foliage. It was at one time extremely rare and sought after in the plant collector world. It has been cloned and made available in years past. It seems the plant has not been on the market for sometime and has just made a comeback. In most cases plants will be around for a season or two then gone for many years. Don't miss out if you like rare and odd Alocasia.
