Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Stenospermation Species is an extremely hard to find plant, many botanical gardens do not have plants in this aroid group. We have found very little information on the whole section, but it is very similar to a philodendron in the way it grows. This species has large paddle leaves that are 6- 8 inches long and a brown thick vine. Often the lower leaves fall off while the plant holds foliage on the top growing section. The flowers are unique in appearance with yellow spath and white spadix. This plant is great as a house plant, terrarium plant or for the collector expanding their collection of rare and unusual aroids. The plants for sale are in 2 inch pots shown in last photos Foliage: Large green paddle shaped leaves Flowers: Yellow spath Height: Climber
