Rhipsalis elliptica is an evergreen cactus / succulent or vine with green foliage. In fall and winter cream and yellow flowers emerge. Features glossy texture. Grows well with bright shade - shade and regular water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average, gritty and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.
Rhipsalis elliptica is apart of the group of epiphytic cactus that grow in the jungles of South America. These Rhipsalis grow along side orchids and other epiphytes. They are easy to grow because they are able to handle drought for long periods of time as well as regular watering. They can be grown in hanging pots or mounted on cork bark. The leaves are pad succulent leaves that are linked together. The flowers are small and yellow-white in color, flowering all over the plant at once.
