Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Rhaphidophora hayi is a shingling aroid from tropical Asia, closely related to Monsteras and Philodendrons. Rhaphidophora hayi is very unusual. Unlike most aroids the leaves do not morph into something larger as it matures. Instead it grows leaves maybe as large as 5 inches and as small as 1/2 inch that will shingle up anything it can climb making a dramatic effect. This plant is not often offered but does great as a terrarium or vivarium plant. Also does well as a house plant or a tropical climber in warmer zones. Foliage: Oval dark green leaves shingles as it climbs Flowers: ? Height: Climber or crawler
