Philodendron Whipple Way was introduced by to plant collectors in California Dick and Ralph named after the street they live on. The plant is one of the most dramatically variegated plants I have seen. If grown in bright light or full sun the plant will be almost totally white with small pink and green specks in the leaves. As the leaves age they turn a light lime green color. Leaves grow to 1 foot long or more and 4 to 5 inches wide. This is a slow climbing plant. The first plants I saw of this it was unbelievable as I have never seen a plant so white survive sense most die from lack of chlorophyll. If you like rare variegated plants this is a must have.
