Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Philodendron 'Rising Sun' was named by Brian's Botanicals years ago. It was sent to us from a botanical garden in Japan as an unknown hybrid. It is a large grower and has some of the brightest yellow leaves of any Philodendron we have grown. The leaves can change colors depending on the light levels it receives. In low light levels it has lime green leaves and in bright sun the leaves are a brilliant yellow and extremely bright sun it will turn almost white. This plant looks very impressive growing on a tree or totem. It is easy to grow in a tropical garden or as a house plant. Foliage: Bright yellow leaves Flowers: Unknown Height: Climber
