Philodendron davidsonii is a large growing philo species found growing in Costa Rica and into Panama. This large species is often grown in pots and has a very large birdsnest habit. If allowed it can climb and in the wild is usually found high in the tropical canopy. The leaves are large ovate-oblong blades with many sunken primary lateral veins. The foliage can get around 2 feet long or more and are held out on long petioles. A great plant if you have the room for a greenhouse tropical garden or a very large interior planting.
